The IHB is a known institute that thrives to produce professionals in aquatic/water ecosystem and related fields. Actually, I’m not a student of this institute but thanks to Prof. E Zhang he invites me to have a short term experience here. I was here for the last two months…..I’m very happy I came here in IHB…….. Because I have seen the wonder with student life at IHB and I have got a very good experience in some sorts of molecular experiments from students of the aforementioned Professor. Genuinely speaking, the peoples of China (Wuhan) in every age group are very kind and genuine.  

Still I remember the somber I felt during first week of my life here ………I missed my family, my beautiful country, and friendly people around me, a lot above all my Son (Nahom) is always in my dream.  Then Unfortunately, I found everything here and I feel all students and society as like family…..because of their kindness.   

Although China is among the developed nations, the state-of-the-art buildings you look ever where, well-equipped laboratories in IHB, kind and helpful staff, friendly local students, peaceful public always welcoming foreigners and trying to communicate even by sign language, numerous fruits and vegetables you observe attracts not only foreigners but also the local residents, every food stalls (even though! I didn’t taste all of them because I came from the very cultural society and religious family ) with succulent spicy food, hot fried rice, and unique Chinese noodles prepared in countless methods and always giving home-made feeling ………..everything was perfect.   

I hope I will come again here either completing my PhD study or in any other program (post doc) if I will have any invitation from the institute and at that time I will be promised for myself just to learn many of the Chinese culture and language as well. Good bye! See you again all staffs of IHB, my friends, students and at large the local people.
