IHB Prof. ZHU Zuoyan chaired the 3rd China-Canada Fish Physiology and Developmental Biology Symposium which was held at IHB during Oct 26 and 28, 2015.

The 3rd China-Canada Fish Physiology and Developmental Biology Symposium was held at Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) during Oct 26 and 28, 2015. Researchers from the University of Ottawa (uOttawa), Canada, French National Institute for Agricultural Research, Peking University, Sun Yat-Sen University and IHB attended the symposium.

The symposium was co-chaired by IHB Prof. ZHU Zuoyan (CAS academician) and Prof. Marc Ekker from uOttawa. Prof. XU Xudong, deputy director of IHB, gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Overseas speakers included Prof. Marc Ekker, Prof. Marie-Andrée Akimenko, Prof. Michael Jonz, Ph.D. candidate Kimberly Mitchell and Marilyn Vera Chang from uOttawa, and Prof. Stéphane Panserat from French National Institute for Agricultural Research. Speakers from China were Prof. LIU Dong (Peking University), Dr. LIU Yun (Sun Yat-Sen University), Prof. YIN Zhan (IHB), Prof. CUI Zongbin (IHB), Prof. XIAO Wuhan (IHB), Prof. SUN Yonghua (IHB), Associate Prof. HAN Dong (IHB) and Ph.D. candidate TAO Binbin (IHB).
