15th International Symposium on River and Lake Environments
The International Symposium on River and Lake Environments (ISRLE) has been held every 2-3 years since 1984. The 15th ISRLE will be held during 15-19 October 2012 in Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China. The symposium will focus upon translational limnology. Although limnology is rich with observations, experiments, models and theories about inland water ecosystems, it is often difficult to translate the knowledge into meaningful actions. Thus, the symposium will serve as a forum for the exchange of experiences about how to prescribe effective remedies for environmental threats.
The organizers cordially invite you to participate in ISRLE2012. You are welcome to convene and organize workshops on some special topics. For a successful meeting, we greatly appreciate that you help us distribute this Announcement and share it with your friends and colleagues.
