The Analysis and Testing Center, affiliated to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), formally becomes one of the approved CAS R&D Center of Public Technology and Service at the institute level. 24 CAS institutes applied for the institute-level R&D Center, but after close examination and selection, only 9 obtained the opportunity of on-site evaluation by the expert panel, finally 6 passed the evaluation and became the approved CAS R&D Centers of Public Technology and Service at the institute level.

In view of the “Construction Scheme of the Technological Supporting System” issued by the Bureau of Planning and Finance, CAS, the R&D Center of Public Technology and Service at IHB will give full play to the research characteristics of the institute, and establish itself as a R&D platform that provides technological service and training. All the instruments and equipments owned by the Center will be brought into the “CAS On-line Sharing Platform of Large Equipments”, and realize the on-line management and high-efficient operation of the instruments and equipments, thus provide professional technological service for experts. It will gradually make itself qualified to pass the evaluation of the China Metrology Accreditation (CMA).
