An eight-member delegation led by Prof. WANG Yanxin, president of China University of Geosciences, Wuhan paid a visit to IHB on April 14, 2014.

An eight-member delegation led by Prof. WANG Yanxin, president of China University of Geosciences, Wuhan paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on April 14, 2014.    

Prof. ZHAO Jindong expressed warm welcome to the visiting delegation. He said that IHB and China University of Geosciences lay their greatest strengths in hydrobiology and geosciences respectively. Both sides have established close cooperation ties in the environmental sciences, oceanography and limnology etc. He hoped that more high-level cooperation could be carried out in the future.    

Prof. WANG Yanxin introduced the basic status of China University of Geosciences, with specific emphasis on the university’s strategic demands of biology and environmental sciences. He hoped China University of Geosciences could cooperate with IHB on the personnel cultivation, programs application, personnel exchange and platform construction.    

The visiting delegation visited the Museum for Aquatic Organisms.
