2014  Post-doc Forum

On the morning of June 6, 2014, Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) held a Post-doc Forum at the Conference Hall of the State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology. More than 60 post-docs from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan Institute of Virology of CAS, Wuhan Botanical Garden of CAS attended the forum.    

The Forum was chaired by Hu Xingyue, head of the Office of Human Resources and Education at IHB. Prof. XIE Shouqi, IHB’s deputy director in charge of post-doc affairs, gave a welcome speech. On behalf of the Coordination Committee of Hubei Postdoctoral affairs, Peng Xiaosong, vice head of the Administrative Division of the Professional Technicians at Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hubei Province, addressed at the forum and gave a presentation on the interpretation of relevant regulations of Hubei postdoctoral affairs.  

IHB Prof. GUI Jianfang (CAS academician) gave a presentation on the post-doc training and scientific research and shared his research experiences with the attendees. Later, eight post-docs from different universities and institutes respectively gave presentations for the audience.    

After the forum, the attendees visited the State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology, Museum for Aquatic Organisms, Baiji Dolphinarium and Wuhan Botanical Garden.
