The delegation visited the rearing hall of the Yangtze finless porpoises.

The delegation of the Environment Protection and Resources Conservation Committee of the National People’s Congress paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on Oct. 16, 2014. The delegation was led by WANG Hongju, deputy director of the Committee. The purpose of their visit was to investigate the conservation status of endangered species in the Yangtze River. 

IHB Prof. WANG Ding introduced the population status, living crisis and protective measures of the Yangtze finless porpoises to WANG Hongju (L), deputy director of the Environment Protection and Resources Conservation Committee of the National People’s Congress.
