Vice Director General of Hubei Science and Technology Department Visited IHB on Nov. 13, 2014.

A four-member delegation led by LIU Wangqing, vice director general of the Science and Technology Department of Hubei paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on Nov. 13, 2014.

IHB’s deputy director Prof. XU Xudong welcomed the visiting delegation. Both sides had in-depth interaction on issues pertaining to aquaculture, nutrition and aquafeed, genetic breeding and fish disease prevention.

The vice director general LIU Wangqing said that IHB has strong academic capability. He hoped IHB can give full play to its strength in seedling breeding, ecological aquaculture, fishery management and fish disease prevention and thus make contribution to the fishery development in Hubei.
