Prof. WANG Ding Gives Lecture at National Library of China
Prof. WANG Ding from Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) gave a lecture on the Yangtze finless porpoises conservation at National Library of China, June 6, 2015.
At the invitation of National Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Association and National Library of China, Prof. WANG Ding from Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) paid a visit to National Library of China on June 6, 2015 and gave a lecture with the title of “The fate of the endangered species and the rise and fall of the Yangtze River”.
In his lecture, Prof. Wang gave a case study on the research and conservation of the Yangtze finless porpoises. He introduced the progress made in the studies and conservation of the endangered species in the Yangtze River over the past decades by Chinese scientists. Considering the severe ecological situation in the Yangtze River, Prof. Wang appealed the public to be engaged in the protection campaign.
