IHB Holds Hydrobiology Summer Camp 2015

 
Prof. XIE Shouqi, deputy director of IHB, introduced the historical development of IHB to the camp participants, July 14, 2015.

The Hydrobiology Summer Camp 2015, organized by Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was finished on July 16, 2015. The five-day camp gathered more than 90 juniors from different universities and colleges in China.    

On July 14, Prof. XIE Shouqi, deputy director of IHB, introduced the historical development of IHB. Prof. YIN Zhan, assistant director of IHB, introduced the enrollment for 2016. During the camp, IHB held the interview for some of the participants who are qualified to be exempt from the graduate admission exam.     

The participants later visited the museum and labs at IHB and interacted with the supervisors and lab members face to face. They also had a trip to Wuhan Botanical Garden.    

The summer camp has attracted many juniors with good performance to approach the Chinese Academy of Sciences and has served as a platform from more college students to get acquainted with the research of IHB. The participants also visited some of the scenic spots in Wuhan.
