A nine-member delegation led by GUO Shenglian, vice governor of Hubei Province, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on Nov. 16, 2015. The delegation also included LIU Zhongchu, deputy secretary general of Hubei Provincial Government, and ZHENG Chunbai, counsel of Hubei Science and Technology Department.    

IHB’s Director ZHAO Jindong welcomed the visiting delegation. IHB’s deputy director XU Xudong introduced the achievements IHB has made over the past decades. The vice governor GUO Shenglian positively commented on IHB’s achievements and said that IHB should direct its basic study to meet the local economic development of Hubei. He also expressed his gratitude to IHB researchers who have made contribution to the social and economic development of Hubei.    

Later, the visiting delegation visited the China Zebrafish Resource Center.
