The 2015 Annual Academic Committee Meeting of the State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology was held at IHB during Jan. 11 and 12, 2015.

The 2015 Annual Academic Committee Meeting of the State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology was held at Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) during Jan. 11 and 12, 2015.  More than 60 people including members of the academic committee and researchers working in the Lab attended the meeting. 

Prof. ZHU Zuoyan (CAS academician) who is the director of the academic committee chaired the meeting. Prof. ZHAO Jindong, director of IHB, gave an opening speech. Prof. NIE Pin, director of the Laboratory, gave an annual work report of the Lab. In his work report, Prof. Nie introduced the Lab’s research directions, personnel structure, on-going projects, funds, papers and future plans.    

In the discussion session, 22 professors who work in the Lab presented their respective research progress over the past five years. All the attendees exchanged views on how to prepare for the up-coming laboratory evaluation.
