A delegation led by Prof. MENG Wei (academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering), president of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, paid a visit to IHB on May 27, 2016

A delegation led by Prof. MENG Wei (academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering), president of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on May 27, 2016.    

Prof. ZHAO Jindong, director of IHB, welcomed the visiting delegation. Prof. HE Feng, head of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, introduced IHB’s implementation of the projects supported by the National Key Science and Technology Special Program - "Water Pollution Control and Treatment". Prof. Meng suggested that IHB shall set up goals for the "Water Pollution Control and Treatment" projects during the “thirteenth Five-Year Plan”.    

All the attendees discussed how the "Water Pollution Control and Treatment" projects can be fully carried out during the “thirteenth Five-Year Plan”. They all hoped IHB could give full play to its academic strength in hydrobiology, freshwater ecology and ecological engineering, and take part in more "Water Pollution Control and Treatment" projects.
