Deputy Mayor of Huai’an Visits IHB Huai’an Research Center
A seven-member delegation led by ZHAO Hongquan, deputy mayor of Huai’an, paid a visit to Huai’an Research Center of IHB on Sept. 21, 2016.
A seven-member delegation led by ZHAO Hongquan, deputy mayor of Huai’an, paid a visit to Huai’an Research Center of Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on Sept. 21, 2016. Leaders from Huai’an Science and Technology Bureau and Science, Education and Industry Development Office of Huai’an Economic and Technological Development Zone were in the delegation.
IHB Prof. XIE Songguang, director of Huai’an Research Center, introduced the personnel structure and research progress of the Center. He also introduced the cooperation between the Center and local institutions and enterprises.
ZHAO Hongquan fully affirmed the achievements that the Huai’an Research Center has made since its establishment. He said that Huai’an Research Center has contributed a lot to the fishery resources development and water environment protection in Huai’an and its adjacent areas. He hoped the Center can further provide S&T support for the industrial development of Huai’an.
