LI Wenbiao, director general of the Erhai Lake Protection Bureau,
introduced the overview of Erhai Lake to the visiting delegation.

The delegation led by LIU Huizhou, director general of the Bureau of Facility Support and Budget under Chinese Academy of Sciences, paid a visit to Erhai Lake Field Station which is affiliated to Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) on April 13, 2017.    

The delegation investigated the water ecological restoration project in Erhai Lake, an alphine fault lake in Yunnan province, China. LIU Huizhou said that Erhai Lake played an important role in the ecological environment protection of the whole nation. He hoped IHB could make more outstanding achievements in Erhai Lake since it had a field station there.    

LI Wenbiao, director general of the Erhai Lake Protection Bureau, expressed his gratitude to IHB for the institute had been devoting to the environment protection and treatment of Erhai Lake. He hoped more collaboration could be carried out between both sides. Prof. HU Wei, IHB’s assistant director, welcomed the delegation and hoped the field station could be supported by both the academy and the local government in Erhai Lake.
