State Key Laboratory of Freshwater Ecology and Biotechnology held the Second Meeting of the Seventh Academic Committee Members on November 27, 2019.

More than 60 people from the Lab attended the meeting which was chaired by Prof. GUI Jianfang, CAS academician and chairman of the Lab’s academic committed.

IHB’s deputy director Prof. YIN Zhan, who is also the director of the Lab, gave an annual work report of the Lab. He introduced the major research progress, academic exchanges, platform construction and development planning in 2019.

Prof. XU Xudong and Prof. WU Chenxi gave presentations on their respective achivements.

All the attendees discussed issues related to the disciplinary development and evaluation of the Lab. The positioning of the Lab made clearer at the meeting.

The Lab will help create an environment suitable for the growth of the young scientists, and enhance the quality of papers, widen the research areas of the Lab.
