The general manager of Water Affairs and Environmental Protection Division of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co Ltd, MIN Hongping, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on June 28, to seek bilateral cooperation with the institute.   

A preliminary concensus was reached in establishing joint labs, constructing an integrated platform for industry, education and research, and conduction R&D projects.    

At the seminar where both sides exchanged views, YIN Zhan, acting director of IHB, introduced the institute’s efforts and achievements in water ecological environment.    

Prof. WU Chenxi from IHB gave a general report on the works carried out in Dongxihu Lake and Qinghai Lake.   

MIN Hongping introduced the organizational structure of the Water Affairs and Environmental Protection Division, and its development goals.    

Other people in the visiting delegation included the chief engineer GONG Jie and two PhDs from the China Construction Water and Environment Co Ltd.
