IHB Holds Lecture on Intellectual Property Rights

In order to improve the level of intellectual property protection and patent applications, the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held a lecture on intellectual property rights on October 13, 2021.    

More than 40 people attended the lecture which was given by LI Ji, general manager of Hubei Branch of Chofn Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd.   

Participants consulted Li on patent application techniques, priority examination, and rights guaranteed to a patent holder.    

While making breakthroughs in scientific research and innovation, IHB researchers are improving the number and quality of their patent applications. So far, the institute has already had 382 valid patents. In 2019, the institute passed the system certification according to the "Intellectual Property Management Standards for Scientific Research Organizations".
