Prof. YU Yuhe Remains Honorary President of Chinese Protozoological Society

YU Yuhe, professor of Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was re-elected as honorary president of the Chinese Protozoological Society (CPS) at the 21st biennial meeting of the CPS held in Qingdao during October 20 and 24, 2021.    

The 11th board committee members were elected by ballot. IHB Prof. MIAO Wei was elected vice president and secretary general of the CPS. Professor Yu and associate professor XIONG Jie were elected to the standing board committee. Four IHB researchers - HUANG Kaiyao, LI Ming, GONG Yingchun and HUANG Jie, were elected board committee members.  

  

The CPS, an affiliate of IHB, was founded in May 1981 and is committed to promoting the development of protozoology in China. Every four years, the CPS elects its new board committee members.
