The Faculty Badminton Tournament organized by the Wuhan Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences took place on April 12, 2023. After intense competition, the team from the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences achieved outstanding results, winning the team's third place, the mixed doubles championship (in the leadership group), the mixed doubles runner-up, and the men's doubles third place.   

A total of six representative teams from CAS-affiliated institutes in Wuhan participated in the competition. The team from IHB had 12 athletes competing in mixed team events (men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles), individual events (men's doubles, mixed doubles), and the leadership group's individual event (mixed doubles).    

IHB Faculty Badminton Association carefully selected team members for the competition and actively conducted pre-competition training. The players exhibited vitality and dedication on the court, showcasing the cohesion, combativeness, and proactive spirit of the institute’s researchers.
