IHB Hosts Public Lecture for Intellectual Property Week 2023
On April 24th, in anticipation of China's National Intellectual Property Week, the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized a public lecture on intellectual property rights. Over 50 participants, including researchers, graduate students, and intellectual property specialists from various research centers, attended the event either in-person or through an online platform.
The lecture featured presentations by Mr. ZHANG Yuanjun, deputy general manager of Central China Zhiguang Technology Transfer Co., Ltd., who shared insights on "Fundamental Patent Knowledge and Strategies for Drafting Patent Application Documents." Additionally, Mr. DING Zhixin, general manager of Southern China Zhiguang (Shenzhen) Technology Transfer Co., Ltd., presented on "Guidelines for Formulating Intellectual Property-Related Clauses in Industry-University-Research Cooperation Agreements."
The objective of the event was to further implement the National Intellectual Property Strategy, actively promote the transformation and application of intellectual property rights, enhance awareness of intellectual property protection, and elevate the quality of patent applications in the institute, as well as boost its capacity for scientific innovation and technology transfer.
