CAS Conducts Comprehensive Review of IHB's Scientific Instrument Development Projects
On April 29, 2025, the Bureau of Basic Science and Technology Capacity of the Chinese Academy of Sciences organized an expert panel to conduct a comprehensive review and acceptance evaluation of IHB's academy-level scientific instrument development projects. The review committee comprised technical and financial specialists from across CAS institutes, with IHB leadership in attendance.
The projects under review covered cutting-edge applications in: Micro/Nanofluidic Chip-Based Single-Cell Proteomics Analysis System, Multi-Modal Recognition and Monitoring Equipment for Fish in Water Purification Fisheries, and Portable Multi-Parameter Remote Sensing Device for Aquatic Environmental Factors.
After examining technical documentation and conducting in-depth discussions, the expert panel confirmed all projects had successfully achieved their research objectives and operational benchmarks. The committee granted formal approval while providing recommendations for future implementation.
Since 2017, IHB has secured a total of nine million RMB in funding support from CAS for scientific instrument development initiatives.
