Dr. Qiaohong Zhou has been focused on 3 major research areas: (1) Application and development of wastewater treatment in constructed wetlands, (2) The mechanism of interaction between microbial community and freshwater environment (lakes, rivers, wetlands), and (3) The collection and utilization of freshwater functional microbial resources for ecological restoration.
