On November 12th, the five-member delegation of Korean National Research Resource Centers (KNRRC), led by Professor Yeonhee Lee visited the Freshwater Algae Culture Collection (FACHB-Collection) of IHB.  

Deputy Director Prof. Shouqi XIE, Prof. Lirong SONG welcomed the delegates and discussed on issues of mutual interest. Prof. Yeonhee Lee, the Director of KNRRC introduced the framework, management operating system and the condition of resources conservation in different collection organizations. Deputy Director Xie introduced the history, current status and development of our institute to the Korean delegation.  

Prof. Pyung-Rim Chung, honorary professor of IHB and emeritus professor of Inha University came all the way with the delegation to visit Academician Jiankang LIU and communicated with other experts and friends whom he was familiar with in our institute. 

The Korean delegation also visited the Museum of Aquatic Organism, Research Group of Environmental Biology of Algae and China Virus Culture Collection Center at Wuhan Institute of Virology, CAS.
