Science and Technology Attaché of Consulate General of France in Wuhan Visits IHB
A French delegation led by Yann Moreau, science and technology attaché of Consulate General of France in Wuhan, paid a visit to IHB on May 13, 2019.
A French delegation led by Yann Moreau, science and technology attaché of Consulate General of France in Wuhan, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on May 13, 2019 to push forward the scientific and cultural collaboration between IHB and the French institutes.
Professors and experts from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA), Syndicat Mixte du Grand Bassin de l’Oust (SMGBO), and Agrocampus Ouest were with the delegation.
IHB’s deputy director Prof. MIAO Wei welcomed the visiting delegation and introduced the overview of the institute. Prof. Gérard Gruau from the CNRS introduced the overview of the Center and the collaboration between his team and IHB Prof. LI Qingman’s team.
Associate Prof. Anne Jaffrézic from Agrocampus Ouest introduced the departments of the college and hoped that IHB students could conduct exchange of visits in their college.
Attendees had in-depth interaction on topics of Sino-French collaboration programs, exchanges of visits between scholars and students. Both sides hoped to make full use of the Sino-French CAI Yuanpei Programme, Sino-French XU Guangqi Programme and PIFI program launched by the CAS so as to further promote academic exchange and postgraduate exchanges between both sides.
