IHB Researchers Attend 4th Congress of International Society of Fish and Shellfish Immunology
The 4th Congress of the International Society of Fish and Shellfish Immunology was held in Bodo, Norway from December 12 to 15, 2022.
At the invitation of Prof. Jorge Galindo-Villegas from Nord University in Norway, researchers and students from Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the 4th Congress of the International Society of Fish and Shellfish Immunology held in Bodo, Norway virtually from December 12 to 15, 2022.
The congress was organized and chaired by Prof. Jorge Galindo-Villegas. Renowned scholars from the field of fish immunology were invited to give oral presentations. Among them were Profs. Kim Thompson, who worked on vaccine research, Kenneth Soderhall, who studied stress and immunity, Irene Salinas, who studied mucosal immunity, and Ikuo Hirono, who studied immunogenomics.
The congress featured 70 oral presentations and 70 posters, which were held both on-site and remotely.
