A three-member delegation led by GE Lin, deputy director general of Science and Technology Department of Hubei, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on August 22, 2018 to inspect the development of the S&T innovation platforms in the institute.

Prof. HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, welcomed the delegation and introduced the overview of the institute. Principals of each S&T innovation platform at IHB introduced the uniqueness and importance of each platform as well as the academic and social influence achieved by relevant research work. 

"IHB has a long history and a large number of talented people", said GE Lin. "It requires persistence in doing research. Hubei Science and Technology Department has been looking for new ways to support the S&T innovation platforms."  

It is hoped that with joint efforts, both sides can further enhance the management efficiency of these platforms.
