A six-member delegation led by YU Zhongyong, director general of Lake Chaohu Administration Bureau of Anhui Province, paid a visit to IHB on January 9, 2019.  

A six-member delegation led by YU Zhongyong, director general of Lake Chaohu Administration Bureau of Anhui Province, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on January 9, 2019.    

Both sides had in-depth exchanges on the establishment of fishery health system of Lake Chaohu, the investigation of fishery resources in Lake Chaohu, the aquatic ecological environment and the protection of fish resources.   

YU Zhongyong said, “IHB has scientific strengths in water environment and fishery sustainable development. We hope IHB could give more support to the investigation of Lake Chaohu's fishery resources, assessment of their proliferation and release, and ecological protection of the fishery.”    

Prof. HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, said that IHB has established a long-term relationship with Lake Chaohu Administration Bureau of Anhui Province and has accumulated abundant experiences in the studies of water ecology and fishery resources of Lake Chaohu. “IHB will further cooperate with your bureau on the comprehensive treatment of Lake Chaohu.”   

The delegation also visited the Museum for Aquatic Organisms and Donghu Lake Ecosystem Experimental Station.
