LI Wei, vice president of CAS Wuhan Branch, addressed at the Lecture on S&T Achievements Transformation, March 15, 2019.  

The first lecture on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, sponsored by Wuhan Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held at Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on March 15, 2019. More than 100 people including researchers and students attended the lecture.   

IHB’s deputy director Prof. HU Wei chaired the lecture. IHB’s deputy director Prof. YIN Zhan said in his welcome speech that this lecture could be an opportunity to further promote the transformation efficiency of the S&T achievements.    

LI Wei, vice president of CAS Wuhan Branch, addressed at the lecture, saying that this event could establish an efficient communication platform for researchers, promote the connection between industrial technology and enterprises, encourage researchers to actively commercialize their achievements, and thus create more social and economic value.   

In the teaching session, WANG Yong, director of the S&T Office of CAS Wuhan branch, shared his understanding of the transformation of S&T achievements, introduced the requirements of applying for the CAS related projects of S&T achievements transformation, and put forward suggestions for promoting the transformation of S&T achievements.    

PENG Huakui, director of the planning office of Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau, systematically introduced the S&T planning system of Wuhan, and explained the policies of application for S&T achievements transformation projects.   

LI Chunlong, director of Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of East Lake High-Tech Zone, introduced the talent and entrepreneurship policies of Optical Valley from the perspective of culture, innovation and entrepreneurship environment in the zone.    

ZHOU Zhiming, marketing director of Mu Te Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., introduced the writing skills of business plan. Prof. WANG Hualin from Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences shared his experience of transformation of S&T achievements in the market.  

IHB’s deputy director Prof. YIN Zhan said in his welcome speech that this lecture could be an opportunity to further promote the transformation efficiency of the S&T achievements.
