A six-member delegation led by Prof. JIN Xianshi, director of Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute (YSFRI) of Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences (CAFS), paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on December 18, 2019.

During their visit, they had communication with IHB researchers on issues related to the basic and applied research of fishery sciences, achievements transformation, construction and management of state key laboratories and scientific supporting platforms.

Jin introduced YSFRI’s overview in scientific innovation, technological support, achievements transformation and personnel construction.

Prof. HE Feng, director of the Research and Sponsored Programs at IHB, introduced IHB’s overview, its recent progress in the research and development of fishery and the construction of state key laboratory and platforms at the state and provincial level.

Both sides had in-depth communication on the construction and management of scientific platforms and further cooperation on the research programs in fishery.

"We will learn from each other and further our collaboration to serve the transformation and upgrading of fishery in China and thus meet the strategic needs of green development of our country.” said Jin.
