Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Jiangxi Provincial Water Conservancy Investment Group Corporation on December 25, 2019 in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. IHB’s deputy director HU Wei and ZENG Yadong, deputy general manager of Jiangxi Provincial Water Conservancy Investment Group Corporation represented both sides to sign the agreement.

According to the agreement, both sides agreed to take advantage of their respective advantages and conditions to carry out all-round cooperation in the treatment and ecological restoration of polluted water bodies, the R&D and demonstration of key technologies for modern large-water fishery, the investigation and protection of aquatic biological resources, and the efficient and ecological cultivation in rice fields.

The agreement will enhance the process of IHB’s transformation and application of achievements in Jiangxi Provincial Water Conservancy Investment Group Corporation, thus promoting the green development of aquaculture and resource exploitation in Jiangxi Province.
