IHB signs a cooperation agreement with Green Industry Investment Co., Ltd (GII) under China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co Ltd (CCTEB) on July 23. 

Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences signed a cooperation agreement with Green Industry Investment Co., Ltd (GII) under China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co Ltd (CCTEB) on July 23.

According to the agreement, both sides will conduct a comprehensive cooperation in the treatment of polluted water bodies, and the construction of the hydrobiological database.

"We hope the cooperation will help build an intimate bond with IHB. This is a good way to promote the industry-education-research cooperation pattern, and achieve win-win outcomes." WANG Tao, the chairman of GII, said at the signing ceremony.

Besides the chairman of GII, the signing ceremony was also joined by IHB’s acting director YIN Zhan, and professors and principals from both sides.

LI Xun, deputy chief of Office of Research and Technology Development of IHB, and MIN Hongping, general manager of GII, signed the agreement.

The GII was established by the CCTEB to cover business pertaining to the green industry. It aims to strengthen the green industry development through independent or joint investment. The GII’s design academy, in collaboration with enterprises and universities, has compiled national, local and enterprises standards, obtained authorized patents, and won S&T progress awards.
