A delegation led by ZHU Guangqing, an inspector with the Department of Science, Technology and Finance at the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, visited the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on June 7, 2021.    

During the visit, the delegation inspected the national engineering laboratory of lakes at the institute’s Liangzihu Lake R&D Center.    

They checked the progress of establishing the wetland ecological simulation research system, water ecology integrated regulation simulation system, and the phytotron in the lab.    

When meeting the delegation, HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, said that the institute will give full play to its S&T advantages, and provide support to meet the needs of national water ecological civilization construction.   

In conclusion, Zhu suggested IHB to support the protection and restoration of the ecological environment via industry-university-research collaboration.
