A delegation led by WU Jun, deputy director general of the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei, visited the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on August 26, 2021. The purpose of the visit was to push forward the construction of Freshwater Fishery Technology Innovation Center.    

Prof. LIU Jiashou reported the construction progress of the innovation center. Prof. GUI Jianfang, chief scientist of the innovation center, expressed gratitude to the S&T Department of Hubei for its support in freshwater fishery.    

“With joint efforts, we hope the innovation center will be ranked as a first-class fishery technology platform,”Wu said.
