In an agreement signed with Lihe Technology (Hunan) Co., Ltd., the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences will explore new methods of assessing the health of water ecosystems, as well as provide technical support for such monitoring and evaluation.   

The agreement was signed by HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, and NIE Bo, general manager of Lihe Technology, on October 22, 2021.   

Both sides have a long-term partnership in research and academic exchanges. Based on IHB’s strengths in water ecology, leaders from both sides communicated with each other several times in 2021 and thus established a strong cooperation foundation.   

The signing of the agreement will help roll out a number of ecological monitoring products that both meet the national and market standards.
