The Young Scientists Innovation Forum on Water Environment, Algae and Fishery, organized by the CAS Youth Innovation Promotion Association members from the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in the institute on January 20, 2022. Over 40 people attended the forum.   

The forum was chaired by Prof. WU Xingqiang. Prof. SUN Yonghua, Prof. CAI Qinghua and Associate Prof. ZENG Xiaoli gave oral presentations respectively. They shared their experiences in research, and insights into talent development. As one of the major initiatives, the IHB Youth Innovation Promotion Association has strengthened communication among its members and promoted interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary cooperation through the innovation forum.   

The attendees also organized the working plan for the new year, and summarized the work for the year 2021.
