IHB Holds Meeting on Preparation for NSFC Funds Application 2022
The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences hosted a meeting for researchers preparing to apply for funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) on January 24, 2022.
CHENG Jufang from the Office of Research and Technology Development explained the new initiatives in the NSFC’s project guidelines. Prof. ZHOU Bingsheng shared his experience in writing the grant application. YE Ping, head of the Office of Finance and Accounting, recounted specific issues such as budgeting, accounting, and closing out the project funds. ZENG Jing, deputy director of IHB, emphasized the importance of research integrity.
Deputy director of IHB, HU Wei, urged young researchers to ponder the scientific problems, design their research plans carefully for the key scientific problems, and compose their applications carefully. He also underscored the importance of paying attention to details when writing applications.
This meeting kicked off the institute's preparations for the NSFC Funds Application.
