The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China South-to-North Diversion Middle Route Corporation Ltd signed a strategic cooperation agreement on August 19, 2022 in Beijing.    

The strategic cooperation aims to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the field of water environment treatment and ecological environment restoration. As a result, both sides will utilize their respective advantages to the fullest, closely focus on development needs, forge a long-term and stable cooperation relationship, speed up enterprise research cooperation, talent training, scientific research, and the transformation of achievements, improve the ability of S&T innovation and drive development, strengthen core competitiveness, influence the industry, and promote common growth.   

On behalf of both sides, YIN Zhan, director of IHB, and YOU Guowen, president of the China South-to-North Diversion Middle Route Corporation Ltd, signed the agreement.    

“This cooperation will renew the close partnership and open a new milestone in the partnership between industry, academia, and research application,”said You.
