The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences hosted a meeting for researchers preparing to apply for funds from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) on January 16, 2023.       

CHENG Jufang from the Office of Research and Technology Development explained the new initiatives in the NSFC’s project guidelines. HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, shared his experience in project application from the perspectives of both fund applicants and evaluation experts. YE Ping, head of the Office of Finance and Accounting, recounted specific issues such as budgeting, accounting, and closing out the project funds. LIANG Qiong, deputy director of IHB, emphasized the importance of research integrity.      

This meeting kicked off the institute's preparations for the NSFC Funds Application.
