A three-member delegation led by ZENG Lixin, deputy director general of the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, visited the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences on February 3, 2023.

The delegation visited the Baiji Dolphinarium, Museum of Hydrobiological Sciences, Museum of Historical Development and National Aquatic Biological Resource Center, where they learned about the research platforms owned by the institute, and the development history of the institute. Zeng said that he would actively support the scientific and technological cooperation between the institute and Hunan Province.

"IHB has a long history and solid S&T foundation in the cooperation with Hunan Province. The institute will make every effort to expand its cooperation with Hunan, focusing on project cooperation and talent exchange around ecological protection and fisheries,”said XIE Shouqi, deputy director of IHB, when meeting the delegation.
