On June 16th, 2023, a delegation of seven led by SONG Wentao, chairman of CCCC Second Harbor Consultants Co. Ltd, visited the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.    

HU Wei, deputy director of IHB, welcomed the delegation. He highlighted the joint efforts in co-building research platforms, jointly applying for key research projects, cultivating high-end talents, and applying research results in practice. He hoped that both parties would continue to work together, leverage the advantages of being a "national team," strengthen cooperation, and jointly create a new phase of in-depth collaboration to support the development of industries and units.   

SONG Wentao highly praised the long history and technological strength of IHB. He also reviewed the progress of technological innovation at the CCCC Second Harbor Consultants Co. Ltd in recent years and expressed gratitude for the long-standing support the institute has provided to the technological innovation of the company. He stated that the company is willing to further enhance comprehensive cooperation with the institute in areas such as water environment management, core technology research and development for aquatic ecosystem restoration, research on aquatic ecological carbon sinks, joint application for major research projects, technology transfer, talent development, and co-building research platforms.    

Later, in the presence of leaders from both sides, representatives from both parties signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish the Sub-Center of the Engineering Technology Research Center for Aquatic Plant Resources and Utilization of Hubei Province.
