From April 22 to 25, 2025, an eight-member teaching supervision delegation from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) visited the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for a comprehensive evaluation of graduate-level courses. The supervisors conducted classroom observations and provided feedback for seven specialized courses offered during the 2025 spring semester.

On April 24, IHB hosted a teaching symposium attended by institute leadership, course instructors, and educational administrators from multiple CAS affiliates. During the meeting, participants discussed current challenges in graduate course development and exchanged constructive feedback with the supervision team.

Since UCAS initiated its latest teaching reform in 2021, IHB has actively implemented the new course framework across the 2024 fall and 2025 spring semesters, earning high praise from the evaluation team. Moving forward, IHB will enhance course quality based on the supervisors' recommendations to better support graduate students' scientific training.
