A significant scientific achievement from the Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Complete Set of Technology for Highly Efficient Algae Removal and In-situ Water Purification," was successfully transferred on September 2, 2025. The technology was contracted to Changzhou Delofite Filtration System Co., Ltd. through a listing on the Hubei Technology Exchange, with a total transfer value of RMB 10 million.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. HUANG Lixin, chairman of Delofite, and Professor XU Jun, deputy director of IHB.

Prof. Xu emphasized that this technology has played a crucial role in the emergency treatment of algal blooms and the in-situ purification of water bodies. "This technology transfer is significant for two main reasons," he stated. "Firstly, it will facilitate the large-scale application of this technology in the fields of water environment management and algal bloom prevention and control. Secondly, it serves as a recognition of the important breakthroughs this achievement has made in key technologies for constructing and maintaining a clear, macrophyte-dominated water state in lake ecological restoration."

Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration, building on over a decade of joint research and development to advance water ecology technologies.
