The Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has formally licensed its “High-Efficiency Coagulation and Air Flotation Algae Removal Technology” to Wuxi Gongyuan Environmental Technology Co., Ltd on November 4, 2025. The agreement, valued at 2 million RMB, marks a significant step in transferring environmental research into practical application. 

Representatives from both the IHB research team and the company attended the signing ceremony, where they recognized their established cooperation and discussed further collaboration in environmental technology development. The company expressed its intent to deepen partnerships in pollution control and water treatment innovation. 

This licensing agreement underscores IHB’s commitment to translating scientific achievements into solutions for real-world ecological challenges. Both parties plan to expand collaboration in areas including joint research, platform development, and talent cultivation, contributing to national efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development.
