On December 21^st, the 4^th academic conference of life science and technology of Wuhan whose theme was “exchanging opinions and sailing for innovation” was held in the academic hall of Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics.  

The annual academic conference of life science and technology of Wuhan mainly provides a chance for the graduate students of different institutes and universities in Wuhan to exchange their leaning methods and research abilities. The specially invited researchers were IHB Prof. Renhui LI and experts and scholars from Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, CAS; Wuhan Institute of Virology, CAS; Huazhong University of Science and Technology; South-Central University for Nationalities who made keynote speeches and served as judges of the conference.  

Twenty-seven graduate students coming from the field of life science and technology of different institutions in Wuhan made reports on their research progress. Graduate students Qingyun YAN (supervisor: IHB Prof. Yuhe YU), Xi LI and Lou Qiyong (supervisor: researcher Ying Zhan) from IHB attended this annual conference and made excellent academic reports. They were all given the second prize of the excellent thesis award.
