Four IHB Postdoctoral Research Fellows Awarded China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Fellowship
Four postdoctoral research fellows from Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IHB) have been awarded China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Fellowship according to the name lists recently released by Chinapostdoctor.org.cn. The four postdoctoral research fellows are LUO Daji, CHEN Li, WANG Hongqiang and ZHANG Xiaolin.
LUO Daji is a postdoctoral research fellow working at the State Key Laboratory of Freshwater and Biotechnology. Collaborated with IHB Prof. ZHU Zuoyan (CAS academician) and IHB Prof. HU Wei, the project "The Functions of a Novel Gene b97 in the Reprogramming Process after Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer ” which is applied by Luo has been supported by the special program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, which is worthy of RMB 100,000 yuan. The special program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation has been implemented since 2008, aiming at financially supporting the postdoctoral research fellows with innovative ability and development potential. The project that can be supported by the special program will receive the highest level of financial support for postdoctoral research fellows in China. LUO Daji becomes the first postdoctoral research fellow who has been awarded the special program fellowship in IHB’s history.
The project “Transcriptomics analyses of the halotolerant mechanism of marine cyanobacterium Synechococcus sp. PCC 7002” applied by CHEN Li, “studies on the degradation properties and algal photosynthes is influence of several alkaloid allolechemicals” applied by WANG Hongqiang and “Fitness of a natural hybrid: Potamogeton×intortusifolius, and its evolutionary significance” applied by ZHANG Xiaolin have been respectively supported by the general program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, which is worthy of RMB 30,000 yuan.
