IHB Assistant Professor to Visit Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI)
Recently, Dr. Songhai LI, Assistant Professor of the Research Group of Conservation Biology of Aquatic Animals at IHB will go to visit the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in the United States to begin his one year’s research in the fields of auditory system, auditory ability and vocal behavior of marine mammals as a guest investigator.
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is the largest private, nonprofit ocean research, engineering and education organization of international fame in the fields of marine climate, water environment, polar research, geographical and geological structure and marine biology.
After received his Ph.D. at IHB in 2007, Dr. LI worked in our institute where he devotes his research in bio-acoustics of aquatic mammals.
