ISRF is dedicated to provide a platform for participating graduate students to develop professional relationships and boost international cooperation. The first International Student Research Forum was carried out by the Institute of Medical Science at University of Tokyo in October 2005; it was actually a Sino-Japan Student Forum at that time. After that, more and more universities were invited to join this forum. The ISRF has continued annually for the past 9 years.
