IHB holds the 1st Sino-British Forum on Algal Biotechnology and Biological Resources

The 1st Sino-British Forum on Algal Biotechnology and Biological Resources was held at IHB from September 18-21, 2018.

The 1st Sino-British Forum on Algal Biotechnology and Biological Resources was held at Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences from September 18-21, 2018.

This forum, with the main topic of “Power of Microalgal Biotechnology:  Resources, Environment and Energy”, was jointly organized by the Key Laboratory of Algal Biology at IHB and the British PHYCONET Association. A total of 265 people attended this forum, including 17 British members from well-known research institutions and companies, such as University College London, Cambridge, University of Cambridge, GlycoMar Company and so on, and Chinese algae researchers from IHB and other institutes, universities and companies.

Prof. YIN Zhan, director of IHB, attended the forum and gave a welcome speech.
