A four-member delegation led by HU Yucai, vice president of Dalian Ocean University, paid a visit to Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences on November 2, 2018.    

20 representatives from IHB faculty and staff attended the seminar held for this visit. FENG Xi, deputy head of the Office of Personnel and Graduate Education, introduced the performance and achievements that the joint graduate students of the Year 2017 had made since they studied at IHB.    

IHB faculty who are supervisors of these students introduced their work and gave suggestions on the enrollment, courses arrangements, adaptation and research of the students.    

Listening to the suggestions, Hu said he would carefully consider the suggestions put forth by the supervisors and bring about more effective measures to cultivate the joint graduate students.    

Since 2017, IHB jointly cultivate graduate students with Dalian Ocean University. The students are registered at Dalian Ocean University but study at IHB. So far, there are 33 joint graduate students enrolled in this program.
